2017년 11월 21일부터 26일까지 다녀온 방콕 여행기입니다.
방콕 짜뚜짝 시장에는 애완동물 전문점이 있다고 와이프가 얘기해 줘서 그쪽으로 가 볼 생각입니다. 애완동물까지 판매하다니.. 짜뚜짝은 정말 대단한 곳 같습니다. 우선 가보도록 합시다!
짜뚜짝 옛날 아이스크림
아, 애완동물 판매점으로 가기 전에 옛날 아이스크림 같은 게 파는 노점상이 보입니다. 디저트로 하나씩 먹으면서 갈라고요. 6가지 종류의 아이스크림이 있고, 개당 5밧입니다. 콜라 맛, Hale’s Blue Boy Green, Hale’s Blue Boy Red, 오렌지, 포도, 밀크티 이렇게 있네요.
이렇게 꼬챙이들만 삐죽삐죽 나와 있네요. 이 원통 자체가 냉장고인 것 같습니다.
할즈 블루 보이 레드와 밀크티를 하나씩 사이좋게 구매했습니다. 이제 애완동물 전문점으로 갑니다.

짜뚜짝 시장 애완동물 전문점
짜뚜짝 애완동물 전문점 쪽으로 가니 풍경이 완전히 바뀝니다. 재래시장 같은 모습에서 상가 가게 같은 모습들로 바뀌네요. 노상은 거의 없고, 통유리로 되어 있는 가게 안에는 수많은 케이지가 쌓여 있습니다. 그리고 냄새가 동물들의 냄새들로 바뀝니다.
앵무새 전문점인 것 같네요. 수많은 새가 지저귀고 있었습니다. 새 아파트 같은 느낌이네요.
여긴 수족관 전문점입니다. 갖가지 물고기들이 한가득 있네요. 여기도 물고기 아파트입니다.
고양이들이 한가득 있는 집도 있고요. 물론 개가 가득한 집도 있었습니다. 포유류들이 많은 집을 지날 때는 냄새가 좀 더 심하게 나긴 했어요. 근데 이렇게 동물들을 너무 한가득 모아 놓은 느낌을 받았습니다. 어차피 외국인이 구매하기는 절차도 까다롭고, 종에 따라서 반입이 아예 안 되는 종도 있어서 여기서 뭔가를 입양하는 생각은 안 하시는 게 좋을 것 같습니다. 그리고 동물들을 너무 많이 모아 놔서 좀 안쓰럽다는 생각까지 들게 하는 장소입니다.
그리고 우리가 상상도 못 했던 동물들도 보입니다. 사진은 원숭이인데요. 아주 귀엽긴한데.. 안쓰럽네요. ㅠ 사진 외에도 많은 동물들이 있었지만 냄새 때문에 오래 버티기 힘든 곳입니다. 다양한 동물들을 한 곳에서 많이 보고 싶으신 분들은 한번쯤은 가 볼만한 곳인 것 같습니다.
