방콕여행 2일차. 왓아룬에서 수상보트타고 왓포로 이동

2017년 11월 21일부터 26일까지 다녀온 방콕 여행기입니다.
왓아룬(Wat Arun)에서 배를 타고 왓포(Wat Pho)로 이동할 예정입니다. 왓아룬에 왔으면 왓포 사원은 꼭 들러야죠. 왓아룬에서 강을 건너면 바로 왓포가 있기 때문에 안 갈 이유가 없습니다. 아주 가깝거든요. 아래 지도 참고하세요.

 

왓아룬에서 수상보트로 강 건너기

우선 왓아룬에서 왓포가 얼마나 가까운지 볼게요. 

위에서 말씀드렸던 대로 강 건너면 바로 입니다. 정말 가깝죠?

 

왓아룬 쪽에서 선착장이 몇 군데 있는데, 지도에서 보이는 것처럼 위쪽으로 올라가면 Khun Mae Pueak Cross River Ferry Pier 로 가시면 됩니다.

 

단돈 4바트에 짜오프라야 강을 건널 수 있습니다. 아주 간단하고 쉽죠? 게다가 쌉니다.

 

지하철 개찰구처럼 생긴 입구인데, 4바트를 내고 들어가면 됩니다. 와이프가 입장하고 있네요.

 

앞에서 수상보트가 대기 중입니다. 우리는 바로 저 배로 올랐습니다. 사람들이 한가득 탑니다. 모두 왓아룬을 다 둘러보고 난 뒤에 왓포로 가는 사람들이겠죠. 워낙 유명한 관광지라 사람들이 넘칩니다.

 

배는 정말 금방 도착합니다. 말 그대로 진짜 강을 건너기만 하면 되니까요. 도착한 선착장에서는 이미 수상보트를 탑승하려는 사람들이 한가득 줄을 서 있네요.

 

우리는 수상보트에서 내리자마자 먹을 것들을 파는 노점상으로 달려갑니다. 지난 태국여행과는 다르게 이번에는 구경하러 다니느라 많이 먹질 못했네요. 선착장에서 나오자마자 먹거리 상인들을 만날 수 있습니다. 역시 태국은 꼬치구이죠. 다 구워서 팝니다. 새우가 아주 맛이 있어 보입니다.

 

하지만 역시 고기죠. 땡볕에 한참을 돌아다녔더니 지치긴 했나 봅니다. 새우를 제쳐두고 둘 다 고기 꼬치를 집어 들었네요. ㅎ 꼬치도 하나씩 먹었으니 이제 왓포를 좀 둘러보기로 합니다.
