방콕여행 4일차. 짜뚜짝 시장의 명물 빠에야 아저씨

2017년 11월 21일부터 26일까지 다녀온 방콕 여행기입니다.
든든하게 밥을 먹었으니 다시 짜뚜짝 시장으로 들어가 봅니다. 식사했으니 디저트를 먹어야겠죠? ㄲㄲㄲㄲ 짜뚜짝 시장의 노상 가게 중에 어떤 게 있나 살펴봅니다. 어? 저기 코코넛 아이스크림을 판매하고 있네요! 어서 달려갑니다.

 

짜뚜짝 시장의 코코넛 아이스크림

진짜 코코넛입니다! 이건 진짜인 듯! 

 

진짜 코코넛 껍질이 반으로 잘려 있습니다. 여기에 아이스크림을 담아 주네요. 코코넛 안쪽 면이 촛농을 녹여 놓은 것처럼 생겼습니다. 

 

이렇게 아이스크림을 담아서 줍니다. 진짜 코코넛으로 얼린 아이스크림인 것 같은데, 시원하고 괜찮습니다. 이거 한국에서도 팔면 좋을 것 같은데, 코코넛 껍질 구하기가 힘들려나요.

 

토핑 재료도 여러 가지 있습니다. 코코넛 빙수 먹는 느낌이랄까요?!

 

짜뚜짝 시장의 명물 빠에야 아저씨

지난번 태국 여행 때는 아예 오픈을 하지 않아서 구경도 못 했던 VIVA8로 갑니다. 빠에야가 유명한 집이라고 하는데요. 많은 사람이 북적거리며 가게를 꽉 채우고 있는 거 보니 꽤 유명한 집이긴 한가 봅니다.

 

가게 밖으로 이렇게 큰 냄비? 에 빠에야의 재료들을 끓이는 중입니다. 엄청나네요. 단계별로 이런 식으로 조리하는 모습을 보여주는 건 꽤 괜찮다고 생각합니다.

 

사실 이 집이 더 유명해진 이유가 이 아저씨 때문이라는데요. 음악에 맞춰서 춤도 추고, 사람들과 함께 사진도 찍어주고 가게를 더욱 북적거리게 만들어 주네요. 일단 우린 식사를 하고 온 지 얼마 안 됐고, 후기들을 봐도 맛은 그냥 그렇다고 하니 빠에야 수염 아저씨만 구경하다가 패치를 사러 갑니다.

짜뚜짝 시장의 패치 천국

지난번 태국 여행 때 왔었던 그 패치 집을 또 찾았습니다. 우리 부부는 옷에 이런 패치를 부착하는 걸 엄청나게 좋아하거든요. 한국에서는 구할 수 없는 다양한 패치들을 볼 수 있습니다.

 

이니셜부터 시작해서 정말 많은 종류의 패치가 있습니다. 마음 같아서는 종류별로 하나씩 다 구매하고 싶은데, 종류만으로도 엄청납니다. 그리고 크기가 큰 패치의 경우 꽤 가격이 있는 편입니다.

 

물론 작은 패치들은  가격이 착합니다. 작은 아이들 여러개와 큰 아이들 몇 개를 사면서 와이프가 애교를 좀 떨었더니 많이 깎아 주시네요. ㅎ

 

패치를 판매하는 곳의 위치는 이쯤 됩니다. 정확한 위치는 찾기가 힘드네요. 대략적인 위치인데, 근처에 가면 보이실거에요!
