2017년 8월 12일부터 14일까지 다녀온 홍콩 여행기입니다.
홍콩 밤거리를 누비는 이유가 있었더라고요. 와이프가 덮밥집을 하나 봐 놓은게 있다고 저를 거기로 끌고 갑니다. 응? 홍콩까지 와서 덮밥이라고? 일단 맛이 있다고 하니까 쫄래쫄래 따라 가 봅니다. 그렇게 엄청난 인파를 뚫고 도착한 빅뱅돈!! 시작합니다.
인생 덮밥을 만난 빅뱅돈(爆丼屋)
빅뱅돈에 도착했습니다. 아주 세련된 디자인의 간판이 눈에 띄네요. 밖에 작은 키오스크가 나와 있고, 사람들이 줄을 서 있습니다.
키오스크에 인원수를 입력하니 번호표를 줍니다. 최첨단이다잉~ ㄲㄲㄲㄲ 아무래도 사람이 많아서 좀 기다려야 할 것 같습니다. 비 오는 날에는 어떻게 되는거지.. 라는 생각을 잠깐 해 봤습니다.
밖으로 보여지는 모니터에 몇 번 들어오라고 화면에 뜹니다. 와- 진짜 최첨단이다잉~ 시스템을 아주 잘 만들어 놓았네요. 우리가 309번이니까 조금만 기다리면 될 것 같습니다.
드디어 차례가 되어서 빅뱅돈에 입성하합니다. 그리 넓지 않은 실내에 사람들이 아주 빼곡하게 들어 차 있습니다. 정말 맛집인가 봅니다. 인테리어는 한듯 안한듯 아주 깔끔합니다. 약간 창고 느낌도 나는데, 요즘 이런식의 인테리어 많이 하잖아요.
와이파이 비번이 벽에 아주 크게 적혀 있습니다. ㅎ 먹느라 바쁠텐데 폰을 볼 시간이 있을까 싶네요. 실제로 다들 먹느라 정신이 없.. 지 않네요. 사진에 나오신 분들 다 폰 쳐다보고 있네요. ㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲ
메뉴판을 받았습니다. 다시봐도 빅뱅돈 로고 디자인 잘 뽑은 것 같네요. 약간 일본어 느낌이 나는 폰트를 선택했네요. 아, 일본어도 한자가 많죠.. 레드 컬러를 포인트로 하여 아주 잘 디자인 된 로고입니다.
와- 메뉴판도 실사를 넣어서 아주 잘 만들어 놓았습니다. 중국어 1도 몰라도 주문할 수 있을 것 같아요! 역시 메뉴판엔 사진이 들어 가 있어야죠!
생각보다 메뉴가 엄청 많습니다. 덮밥류 외에도 꽤 많은 사이드 메뉴가 있습니다. 와- 정말 다 맛있어 보여서 뭘 주문해야 할지 모르겠네요.
엄청난 고민을 한 끝에, 와이프가 좋아하는 장어! 가 있는 장어 덮밥과 소고기 타다끼 처럼 보이는 녀석을 주문 합니다. 뭔가 메뉴판 사진이 상당히 푸짐해 보여서 2개만 주문했습니다.
수저와 앞접시가 세팅됩니다. 그릇도 이쁩니다. ㅎ
아무리 봐도 디자인 잘 뽑았네요. 냅킨에도 빅뱅돈 이름이 박혀 있습니다. 딱 각 잡힌게 아주 깔끔하고 강렬하네요.

타다끼가 먼저 나왔습니다. 소고기 처럼 봤는데, 맞죠? 마블링 보세요. ㄲㄲㄲㄲ 아주 맛있어 보입니다.
소스가 상큼해 보입니다. 마늘과 고추였던 것 같습니다. 타다끼와 아주 잘 어울리는 소스입니다.
그리고 장어 덮밥이 나왔습니다. 우와핫!!! 메뉴 사진 그대로 나오네요. 정말 그릇 넘치게 줍니다. 이렇게 한가득!! 진짜 실물을 보자마자 감탄사가 현으로 터집니다. 보기만 해도 행복해지네요.
이렇게 두개 주문했습니다. ㅎ 장어에 윤기 흐르는거 보세요. 아주 맛이 있어 보입니다.
덮밥에는 된장국이 함께 나옵니다. 된장국도 삼삼하니 맛있네요.
장어가 큰 편인데, 살도 꽤 두툼합니다. 그리고 입에 들어가니 살살 녹네요. 진짜 맛있습니다. 아주 잘 구워졌고요!! 양념도 말할 필요가 없이 달착지근한게 아주 맛깔납니다.
장어와 타다끼 메뉴 선택이 탁월했던 것 같습니다. 아주 맛있네요. 근데 다른 메뉴도 다 맛있었을 것 같습니다.
장어 덮밥은 소스가 함께 나왔습니다. 굳이 안 찍어 먹어도 간은 아주 잘 되어 있어요!
그리고 장어 밑에는 계란 반숙이!! 으어어억!! 진짜 인생 덮밥을 만났습니다. 밥은 계란에 슥슥 비벼서 또 먹습니다.
밥에 타다끼를 얹어서 챱챺. 와- 이거 진짜 다 먹을 때까지 감탄사가 끊이지 않는 곳입니다. 홍콩하면 이제 빅뱅돈만 생각 날 것 같네요.
아, 그리고 여기 숟가락도 마음에 듭니다. ㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲ 작다고 생각했는데, 의외로 날렵하고 튼튼하네요. 길이도 꽤 긴 편이고. ㅎ
