2017년 8월 12일부터 14일까지 다녀온 홍콩 여행기입니다.
자, 일단 캐리어는 맡겨놨고. 홍콩에 왔으니 어디를 가야 할까요? 우리가 제일 먼저 찾아 간 곳은 바로 제니베이커리 입니다!! 예히-!! 와이프가 일부러 그렇게 잡았는지 우리가 묵게 되는 란 콰이 퐁 호텔에서 제니베이커리가 상당히 가깝습니다!! 걸어서 가도 되는 거리!!!! 아래 지도 있습니다.
홍콩 제니베이커리
란 콰이 퐁 호텔과 제니베이커리는 걸어서 고작 3분 밖에 안 걸립니다. ㄲㄲㄲㄲ 지도상에서는 그렇고, 실제로는 10분 정도 걸었던 것 같습니다. 초행길이라.. 지도 보면서 이것저것 구경하며 천천히 갔거든요. 그래도 10분! ㅎ 호텔에 짐을 맡기고 바로 나와서 제니베이커리로 걸어갑니다. 사실 이 때까지만 해도 저는 제니베이커리를 못 먹어 봤었드랬어요. (촌놈!!) 와이프가 엄청 맛있는 쿠키라며 당장 사러 가야 한다고 그래서 구글 지도를 켜고 쫄래쫄래 따라 나섭니다.
이건 제니베이커리 가다가 전파상 같은 곳에 들렀다가 본 엄청난 멀티탭!! 무려 8구짜리네요!!! 대륙의 스케일인가.. 하나 사고 싶었지만 110v 규격이라 구경만..
꽤 도심인 것 같은데, 건물들이 너무 빼곡하게 들어 서 있어서 골목은 좁은 편입니다. 길도 평지도 아녀요.. 오르막내리막 아주 난리입니다. 길이 정말 좁고, 사진과 같은 경우는 인도, 도로 구분도 잘 안되어 있습니다. 이런 길이 계속 이어져 있어요.
날은 덥고.. 조금 걸어 나오니 큰 길이 나옵니다. 목이 말라서 음료수를 사러 편의점에 들렀는데..
갓짜장!! 우왓! 불닭볶음면까지!! ㄲㄲㄲㄲ 둘째칸, 셋째칸은 자주 본 라면이라서 맨 윗칸에 있는 라면을 호텔에서 먹으려고 구매합니다. 이 때까지만 해도 이게 얼마나 큰 파장을 불러올지 우린 몰랐어요. (다음 날 우리는 저 라면 (만한대찬)을 박스로 구매하게 됩니다. ㄲㄲㄲㄲ)
큰 길에서 좁은 골목으로 들어서니 ‘Jenny Bakery’ 간판이 보입니다! 와우- 호텔에서 정말 가깝습니다! 위에서 잠깐 말했지만 이것저것 구경하며 왔는데도 금방 도착했습니다.
입구부터 사람들이 줄을 서 있네요. 인기가 많은 쿠키인 것만은 확실한 것 같아요. (이 때까지도 제니베이커리가 얼마나 맛있는지 전혀 모르는 1인)
뭔가 종류가 많아 보입니다. 하지만 제니베이커리 전문가 와이프가 알아서 구매할거에요!! 쫄래쫄래 따라갑니다.
한국 사람들이 얼마나 많이 사러 오는지 알 수 있는 성명서? 입니다. 맨 밑에 제대로 된 한국어 문장이 적혀 있네요. 주문 전에 구입 개수, 금액을 확인하고 구매 해 달라고 합니다. 성명서를 읽고 있는데, 와이프를 봤더니..
으엑!!!!!! 이렇게나 많이 산다고?! 아, 선물도 할거라고.. ㅎ 정말 캐리어 하나에는 제니베이커리만 넣고 한국으로 돌아온 것 같아요. 제가 이 날 제니베이커리를 처음 먹어 봤는데요. 제가 여태 먹은 쿠키는 쿠키가 아니었다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 홍콩 가시면 제니베이커리 10통은 기본으로 사야합니다. 무조건.

아니, 홍콩 스타벅스라고 해 놓고 사진 달랑 2장이네요. ㅠ 성완(Sheung Wan)역 바로 옆에 있던 스타벅스인데 지도에 검색 해 봐도 안나오네요.. 여기 스타벅스 2박 3일 동안 자주 갔었네요. 일단 시원하잖아요!! 제니베이커리를 한 번 먹어보자며 와이프가 끌고 들어갔던 스타벅스입니다. 시원한 스타벅스에서 시원한 음료를 주문해서 함께 먹는 제니베이커리는 JMT!!! 와- 진짜 최고의 쿠키 인정!! 저 진짜 스타벅스에서 제니베이커리 한 통 한 번에 다 먹을 뻔 했습니다. 이세상 쿠키가 아닌 맛!! 크-
그리고 여기 스타벅스에서 코르크 머그잔을 구매했습니다. 한국에서는 품절이라 구하기 힘들다는데, 여긴 쌓여 있더라고요. 특이하고 깔끔하니 이뻐서 하나 구매합니다. (아직도 잘 쓰고 있어요!)
디즈니랜드 티켓입니다. 홍콩으로 여행 온 목적이기도 합니다. 제가 아이언맨을 좀 좋아합니다. ㅎ 티켓이 멋져서 사진을 찍었습니다.
그리고 호텔에 복귀해서 컵라면!! 해외에 나가도 우리의 주식은 컵라면입니다. 앞으로 여행기 쭉 보시면 아실거에요. ㅎ 만한대찬은 밤에 먹었고요, 이건 그냥 홍콩 라면이었던 걸로 기억해요. 좀 쉬다가 해지고 우린 그 유명한 홍콩 야경보러 스페이스 뮤지엄으로 갑니닷!!
